Job summary

CenterLight Health System is seeking an experienced Azure Administrator to manage, optimize, and secure our cloud infrastructure within the Microsoft Azure environment. You will support enterprise applications, EMR systems, and data platforms, collaborating with network, application, and data teams.

The role requires hands‑on expertise in automation, compute, storage, networking, and identity management, ensuring stable cloud operations and secure deployments across development to production

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Azure VNets, subnets, and security groups to maintain connectivity and performance.
• Administer Azure compute resources including VMs, scale sets, and availability zones for reliability and cost optimization.
• Implement and manage Azure storage (Blob, File, Disk) with availability and secure access.
• Oversee Azure SQL and on‑premises SQL integrations, including provisioning and backups.
• Manage Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), roles, and access permissions for security policies.
• Implement Azure Security Center and Defender for Cloud to monitor compliance and threat protection.
• Configure RBAC, conditional access, and MFA for secure operations.
• Automate provisioning with PowerShell and Azure CLI; support IaC using ARM templates and Terraform.
• Monitor health with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics; optimize cloud costs via right‑sizing and automation.
• Collaborate with System Architect to align deployments with architectural standards.
• Coordinate with application, data, and security teams for secure production environments.
• Provide Tier‑2/3 Azure incident support and root‑cause documentation.
• Plan and implement new Azure services and infrastructure enhancements.
