Job summary

Seneca Holdings' Clear Creek Federal unit is seeking a Cloud Services Engineer in Washington, D.C. or Denver, CO.

You will lead cloud transformation projects and design secure, scalable Azure-based infrastructure for government missions, translating business needs into technical requirements while guiding a team of engineers. This customer-facing role requires strong DevSecOps practices, Terraform, ARM/Bicep, and Kubernetes expertise, plus TS clearance.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain interim Top Secret/Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of cloud architecture experience with hands-on Azure.
• Experience designing IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms.
• Proficient with DevOps, CI/CD, IaC (Ansible, Terraform, ARM, Bicep, JSON, YAML) and containers.
• Understanding of cloud security, networks, and identity management.
• Scripting in PowerShell or Python.
• Customer-facing experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to report onsite daily.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud transformation projects and design secure, scalable Azure-based infra.
• Define cloud architecture, migration strategies, and optimize environments.
• Implement DevSecOps approaches including automation and monitoring.
• Architect Kubernetes ecosystems (AKS/EKS/GKE) for scalability and cost-efficiency.
• Provide guidance on cloud security, compliance (FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST).
• Oversee IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS migrations and deployments.
• Develop architectures, roadmaps, and security protocols.
• Lead infrastructure automation with Terraform, ARM/Bicep, PowerShell.
• Mentor cloud engineers and align work with project goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver mission-critical solutions.
