Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience securing and managing Azure cloud environments.
• Experience assessing Azure security posture and implementing improvements.
• Proven experience with Azure Secure Score and remediating recommendations through Defender for Cloud.
• Proficient with Defender for Cloud, Entra ID, and Azure Policy.
• Experience implementing and managing IAM, RBAC, and security configurations.

Responsibilities

• Assess the current Microsoft Azure environment to identify security risks, vulnerabilities, and configuration gaps.
• Review and prioritize Defender for Cloud recommendations to improve Azure Secure Score.
• Develop and execute remediation plans to strengthen the organization’s cloud security posture.
• Implement and optimize Azure security controls, configurations, and policies.
• Configure and manage IAM, RBAC, and Entra ID security settings.
• Leverage Azure Policy to enforce security standards, governance controls.
• Identify and remediate security misconfigurations across Azure resources and subscriptions.
• Monitor security improvements and report on Azure Secure Score progress.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud engineering, and cybersecurity teams to implement security best practices.
• Document security findings and remediation activities.
