Job summary

Eversource is seeking a Lead Platform Engineer, Cloud on the Cloud Engineer team to design, implement, and manage scalable Azure cloud solutions with strong governance. You will drive infrastructure provisioning, automation, and secure deployments using Terraform, Ansible, and Harness.

The role emphasizes CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and DevSecOps principles, with required travel in MA/CT/NH and a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline or related experience.
• 8–10 years in a technical engineering role with architecture, design, implementation, and management experience.
• Knowledge of AI/ML and Agentic AI is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Azure Landing Zone design and governance with hub-and-spoke topology.
• Implement secure networks using Azure VWAN, ER/VPN, DNS and firewall configurations.
• Develop IaC with Terraform, Ansible and Harness; build CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments.
• Automate provisioning and monitoring; centralize logging with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Collaborate using GitHub, JFrog Artifactory and Jira; create automation scripts (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
