Job summary

Remotely is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer (f/m/d) for a fast-growing startup building intelligent AI workflow automation. You will own the Azure cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes environments, and CI/CD pipelines to support AI workloads.

This fully remote role from Germany offers up to €95k base plus bonus or equity. You will collaborate with software and ML teams, drive automation, security, and cost-efficient, scalable production systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on production experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps.
• Hands-on Microsoft Azure production systems experience.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Bicep.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps).
• Strong Linux, scripting, and security basics.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and support Azure cloud environments hosting the AI platform.
• Design container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes for live workloads.
• Build and refine CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement IaC practices with Terraform or Bicep.
• Collaborate with software and ML teams to scale AI processing.
• Maintain cloud security, networking, monitoring, and platform stability.
• Ensure high availability and cost efficiency of live systems.
