Job summary

Hidden Jobs is seeking a senior platform engineer to design, build, and operate secure, scalable Azure infrastructure for enterprise clients. The role blends technical delivery with leadership, mentoring, and the practical application of AI-assisted approaches to platform development and operations.

You will drive IaC with Terraform, lead Azure networking, governance, and security, and build CI/CD pipelines while mentoring teams and championing developer-friendly platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in cloud infrastructure with production-scale Azure delivery.
• Demonstrated use of the Azure Well-Architected Framework across security, reliability, cost, operations, and performance pillars.
• Deep Terraform experience; familiarity with ARM or Bicep is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate Azure platform capabilities using IaC, primarily Terraform.
• Lead Azure networking work covering connectivity, routing, segmentation, and hybrid cloud scenarios.
• Implement governance, security policies, and platform guardrails aligned with the Azure Well-Architected Framework.
• Build and maintain CI/CD and GitOps pipelines for infrastructure delivery.
• Develop automation and observability tooling using Azure-native services plus Python or PowerShell scripting.
• Create reusable templates and self-service capabilities that improve the developer experience.
• Apply generative AI to diagnostics, automation, and operational troubleshooting.
• Mentor engineers and champion platform engineering practices across teams.
