Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks a mid-level Cloud Analyst to monitor and support Azure cloud environments for a DoD mission. You will troubleshoot, perform root-cause analyses, and mentor junior staff while enhancing runbooks and dashboards.

You will handle patching, backups, and site recovery, contribute to identity governance, and coordinate remediation with Cloud Engineers. DoD 8140/8570 certification is required.

Qualifications

• Azure IaaS/PaaS, monitoring tools, and IAM.
• Experience with ticketing and incident management systems with SLA/SLO tracking.
• Basic scripting/automation (PowerShell, Bicep, ARM).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Must hold a DoD 8140/8570 Certification.
• Technical Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Sentinel to identify trends and issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and coordinate remediation or improvements.
• Manage patching, backup, and Site Recovery operations; verify completions.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and SLA/SLO metrics; monitor resources.
• Support identity/access governance, including RBAC audits and reviews.
• Write basic automation scripts (PowerShell, Bicep, ARM) to streamline tasks.
• Maintain runbooks and knowledge bases; document procedures.
• Coordinate remediation with Cloud Engineers for STIGs, Azure Policy, vulnerabilities.
• Mentor Cloud Analyst I staff in tickets, monitoring, and documentation.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings; communicate status, risks, and recommendations.
• Two-to-four years of Azure/cloud operations or related experience.
