Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Mid‑level Cloud Analyst to monitor and improve Azure cloud environments supporting a DoD mission. You will perform root cause analysis, automate routine tasks, and mentor junior staff while ensuring compliance with security controls and SLAs.

You will work with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Sentinel, implementing patches, backups, and recovery, and contributing to runbooks and dashboards for operational health.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of experience in cloud operations, IT support, or a related technical role with Azure experience.
• Must hold DoD 8140/8570 Certification.
• Technical Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Sentinel data to identify trends and issues.
• Perform root cause analysis on recurring incidents and recommend remediation.
• Execute patching, backup, and Site Recovery operations and track status.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and metrics to track SLA/SLO and resource utilization.
• Support identity, access, and governance tasks including RBAC audits and access reviews.
• Write basic automation scripts (PowerShell, Bicep, ARM) to streamline tasks.
• Maintain runbooks and SOPs; contribute to knowledge bases.
