Job summary

Arch Capital Services LLC is seeking a mid-level Infrastructure Cloud Engineer to design, operate, and evolve our Azure environment. The role emphasizes architecture, hands-on operations, and translating requirements into scalable Azure designs for implementation.

You will automate infrastructure and financial operations, build dashboards and runbooks, and work with security/compliance on identity governance and regulatory obligations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in infrastructure or cloud engineering.
• Hands-on Azure services experience (compute, storage, networking, Entra ID). AZ-104/AZ-305.
• Solid networking fundamentals and IaC experience (Terraform/Bicep).
• Github used for infrastructure scripting and IaC.
• PowerShell or Python scripting for diagnostics and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design Azure infrastructure architecture for new projects and networking topology.
• Evaluate Azure services against business needs and recommend solutions.
• Produce architecture diagrams, design docs, and decision records.
• Monitor health, usage, and cost; identify optimization opportunities.
• Develop runbooks, dashboards, alerts, and automation assets for infra ops.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide root-cause remediation specs.
• Design IAM/RBAC and hybrid connectivity across Azure and on-prem.
• Collaborate with security/compliance on identity governance.
• Ensure SOC 2 and regulatory compliance in cloud designs.
• Translate architecture into Terraform/ARM/Bicep + CI pipelines.
