Job summary

SAIC is seeking a skilled Cloud Computing Engineer to join our cloud infrastructure and platform team in the United States. The role focuses on deploying and managing cloud resources, writing IaC, and supporting CI/CD pipelines in an enterprise, Agile environment.

You will design Terraform modules for Azure, build CI/CD pipelines, enforce NIST security controls, and mentor workload teams. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring US citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud engineering or DevOps.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Azure cloud services and administration.
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
• Working knowledge of Git and source control workflows.
• Familiarity with NIST 800 security controls.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain IaC modules using Terraform for Azure.
• Build and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines for multi-environment deployments.
• Enforce cloud security per NIST 800 controls and least-privilege access.
• Ensure compliance with naming conventions and logging standards.
• Manage shared cloud resources across workload teams.
• Reduce environmental drift using version-controlled repos.
• Support container deployments with ACR and AKS.
• Integrate SonarQube, Fortify, Parasoft in CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor workload teams on Terraform and cloud best practices.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and PR reviews.
