Job summary

CACI International is seeking a Cloud Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain IaC and CI/CD pipelines for Azure Government and Azure Commercial environments. You will automate provisioning, monitoring, and security controls, enabling AI and data analytics platforms for national security missions.

The role requires deep Terraform experience, strong Azure service knowledge, and a proven background in DevOps practices within a secure government cloud context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 13+ years in cloud engineering, DevOps, infrastructure automation, or related field; equivalencies considered (Master’s + 10 years; 19 years with no degree; AA + 15 years)
• Extensive hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or equivalent tools (CloudFormation, ARM templates, Bicep)
• Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, identity, and security services
• Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for repeatable deployment of Azure environments
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and approved DevSecOps tooling
• Implement automation solutions using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar to streamline environment configuration and provisioning
• Support containerization strategies for AI platforms and analytics apps using Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure Container Instances
• Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and approved tools
• Collaborate with security teams and development teams to maintain security posture and compliance
