Lam Research is seeking a seasoned Cloud Data Platform Lead in the San Francisco Bay Area to oversee Azure-focused cloud data technology, with broader AWS/GCP support. You will architect, implement, and govern data cloud solutions, mentor engineers, and drive cost optimization while aligning with governance and security standards.

You’ll lead cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure cloud infrastructure, promote best practices, and enable AI-driven enhancements for reliable operations.

Qualifikationen

• 12+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform operations, or large-scale technology transformation.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure; AWS/GCP a plus.
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture, IaC, networking, IAM, monitoring, automation, HA, and DR.
• Hands-on cloud security, governance, provisioning, configuration management, CI/CD, and enterprise support.
• Experience with enterprise data platforms, APIs, databases, or manufacturing/industrial contexts.
• Knowledge of cloud governance, lifecycle management, metadata, access controls, compliance, and operational quality.

Aufgaben

• Lead design, deployment, and management of scalable, secure cloud data solutions in Azure (and AWS/GCP support).
• Define cloud architecture standards, participate in reviews, and drive well-architected practices.
• Develop a cloud strategy aligned to governance, business needs, and operations.
• Provision and manage Azure resources (VMs, containers, serverless, IaaS/PaaS).
• Implement security controls, IAM, compliance, and business continuity processes.
• Optimize cost, performance, reliability, and operations via monitoring and automation.
• Mentor engineers and lead cloud engineering communities of practice.
• Collaborate with data, security, operations, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
