Lam Research is seeking an experienced cloud data platform technology Lead to guide the design, implementation, and management of cloud data solutions primarily on Azure, with AWS and GCP support. This role blends hands-on technical leadership with strategic direction across global teams.

The position emphasizes cloud architecture, governance, security, cost optimization, and reliability, while mentoring senior engineers and promoting best practices in cloud engineering.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in cloud engineering, platform operations, or large-scale tech transformations.
• Experience designing and operating cloud tech with Azure as the primary platform; AWS/GCP a plus.
• Strong knowledge of IaC, identity, monitoring, automation, and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, and management of scalable cloud data solutions on Azure.
• Define cloud architecture standards, governance, and operating guidelines.
• Develop a cloud tech strategy aligned with governance and business needs.
• Provision and manage Azure resources, including VMs, containers, and services (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS).
• Implement security controls, IAM, and DR processes; optimize cost and reliability.
• Mentor senior engineers and lead cloud engineering communities of practice.
• Collaborate with data, security, operations, and business stakeholders.
