Job summary

The Intersect Group is seeking a senior Cloud Architect to define and execute our Azure-centric cloud strategy, ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient platform solutions across enterprise environments.

You will lead modernization initiatives, establish governance and reference architectures, and mentor engineers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver cloud-first capabilities with strong cost optimization and reliability.

Qualifications

Extensive experience with Azure services and related platform services.
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
Experience designing/containerized platforms using OpenShift, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Harbor Registry, or similar tools.
Solid networking, identity management, security architecture, DR, and high availability in cloud environments.
Experience in HIPAA-regulated environments and healthcare security requirements.
Proven ability to lead enterprise architecture initiatives and influence multiple teams.
Knowledge of observability platforms, automation frameworks, and FinOps.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
Experience with hybrid/multi-cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

Define and execute Azure cloud architecture strategy, roadmap, and standards.
Architect secure, scalable, highly available cloud solutions aligned to business goals.
Lead cloud modernization, migrations, and platform optimization.
Establish governance, reference architectures, and enterprise standards for cloud services.
Mentor cloud engineers and cross-functional teams; lead architecture reviews.
