Job summary

Programmers.io is seeking a Lead Azure Security Architect to drive enterprise security across Azure and AWS, implementing secure baselines and governance. You will oversee Entra ID, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, and policy controls while guiding data security, compliance, and cloud-native security architectures.

The role emphasizes DevSecOps, IaC, and secure cloud governance, with hands-on design and leadership across multiple cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise cloud security architecture across Azure and AWS.
• Deep knowledge of cloud security controls, governance, and compliance.
• Proficiency in DevSecOps practices and infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise Azure Security Architecture with Entra ID, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Azure Policy, Key Vault.
• Own multi-cloud security across Azure and AWS, including IAM, VPCs, and security workflows.
• Architect and govern Palo Alto security solutions (NGFW, Panorama, Prisma Cloud, Prisma Access/SASE).
• Drive data security and compliance with Microsoft Purview, DLP, PCI-DSS, SOC2, and GDPR controls.
• Implement DevSecOps and IaC using Terraform/Bicep, CI/CD security, policy-as-code, and container/Kubernetes security.
