Job summary

ZipStaff Inc. seeks a Cloud Architect to lead onboarding and integration of enterprise workloads onto Azure for a major healthcare organization. You will own landing-zone design, hosting decisions, networking, and security controls in a hands-on architecture role.

This role focuses on designing scalable Azure environments, coordinating with architecture, security, networking, and application teams, and driving workload migrations to the target Azure platform.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years infrastructure/cloud architecture experience, including significant Azure delivery.
• Proven Azure architecture experience in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing landing zones.
• Strong cloud networking experience (connectivity, segmentation, hybrid/on-prem to cloud patterns).
• Strong cloud security experience (identity, platform controls, network security).
• Proven experience leading or supporting cloud workload migrations.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with architecture, security, networking, and application teams.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (no sponsorship now or in the future).

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud onboarding and integration activities for enterprise workloads.
• Design and implement Azure landing zones aligned to enterprise standards.
• Drive hosting decisions for new and migrated workloads.
• Design cloud networking patterns, connectivity, and segmentation.
• Define and implement cloud security controls across identity, network, and platform layers.
• Plan and support workload migrations onto the target Azure environment.
• Partner with enterprise architecture, security, networking, and application teams.
• Produce architecture artifacts covering landing zones, network design, security controls, and migration sequencing.
