Job summary
Charles River Development, a State Street company, is seeking an experienced API Infrastructure Engineer to join the Cloud Platform Engineering team in Massachusetts. You will design, build, automate, and operate enterprise-scale Azure API management platforms, advancing cloud delivery through DevOps, IaC, and secure-by-default practices.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of API engineering / cloud development experience
- Azure certifications such as Azure Developer Associate, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Azure Security Engineer Associate are preferred.
- Experience with financial services, regulated environments, change management, security audit processes, or large-scale enterprise cloud platforms is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, secure, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade APIs on the Microsoft Azure platform.
- Work with application teams, architects, security, and DevOps to deliver scalable API solutions.
- Implement API gateways, governance, versioning, and performance optimizations.
- Automate deployment, testing, and policy management using CI/CD and IaC.
- Monitor API health and support incidents with root cause analysis.
