Job summary

Charles River Associates is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and optimize its hybrid infrastructure spanning on‑prem and cloud environments. You will create reusable platform services, enforce standards, and drive modernization initiatives across multiple teams.

The role emphasizes platform engineering, automation, and observability with collaboration across cloud, security, and application teams. A strong background in IaC and CI/CD is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related discipline (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years supporting enterprise-scale infrastructure and multi-clouds (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• 5+ years with Terraform and IaC methodologies.
• Deep experience designing, building, operating CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain hybrid infrastructure platforms across on‑prem and cloud.
• Develop reusable platform services for self‑service provisioning.
• Establish platform standards, golden images, and reference architectures.
• Contribute to enterprise platform roadmaps and modernization initiatives.
