Job summary

NTT DATA's client is seeking an Azure AI Platform Engineer to join their team in Irving, Texas. The role involves designing and maintaining scalable cloud-native solutions across Azure and Kubernetes, while implementing IaC with Terraform and Helm.

You will develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines, architect AKS/EKS/OpenShift deployments, and partner with development teams to deliver secure, reliable microservices. Occasional travel for client work is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and implementing cloud-native Azure solutions.
• 5+ years Kubernetes experience in AKS/EKS/OpenShift environments.
• 5+ years IaC with Terraform and Helm.
• 5+ years building CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• 5+ years developing software in Python/Java/JavaScript/TypeScript.
• 5+ years microservices and REST APIs design/implementation.
• 5+ years cloud security, IAM, and access control frameworks.
• 5+ years SQL/NoSQL database/storage experience.
• 5+ years observability via Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, OpenTelemetry.
• 5+ years agile, DevOps, or SRE environments.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to deliver enterprise cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native platform solutions across Azure and Kubernetes.
• Build and manage IaC with Terraform and Helm to provision cloud infra.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
• Architect and support Kubernetes-based platforms (AKS, EKS, OpenShift).
• Partner with dev teams to implement secure, reliable cloud services and microservices.
• Design observability solutions to improve platform reliability and efficiency.
• Support Azure OpenAI, vector DBs, RAG pipelines, and cloud data services.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, operations to define platform standards.
