Job summary

NTT DATA North America in Dallas, Texas is seeking a Solution Architect (Java, Cloud & AI) for a hybrid role. You will design end-to-end architectures, lead cloud migrations, and drive AI-enabled capabilities across production systems.

The role requires deep experience in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, cloud platforms, and security. You will mentor teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure robust, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software engineering or solution architecture
• 8+ years with Java, Spring Boot and REST APIs
• 4+ years delivering cloud-native solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP
• 3+ years with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD and IaC
• 2+ years designing or integrating AI solutions using LLMs and vector databases
• Strong knowledge of security standards (OAuth2, JWT, IAM) and data protection
• Ability to communicate complex architecture to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end architecture for scalable, secure enterprise apps using Java, Spring Boot, microservices and APIs
• Lead cloud-native modernization and migrations across AWS/Azure/GCP
• Define blueprints, data flows, non-functional requirements and architecture standards
• Integrate AI capabilities (generative AI, agents, RAG, embeddings)
• Evaluate cloud services and AI models for scalability, latency and cost
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, engineers, data and DevOps teams
• Provide technical leadership through design reviews and mentoring
• Ensure security, privacy, observability, HA, DR and regulatory compliance
• Define CI/CD, IaC, deployment, monitoring and production support approaches
• Support estimations, proposals, architecture presentations and vendor evaluations
