Job summary

Amazon is seeking a highly capable engineer to join AWS Infrastructure Services in Seattle. You will work on large-scale distributed systems, collaborating with top engineers to address customer needs across the AWS service suite, and dive deep into complex technical issues to improve the customer experience.

The role requires strong programming in Python/Java, solid Linux and networking fundamentals, and a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
Experience programming with Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C, C#, Rust
2 years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
3 years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering experience
2 years of non-internship professional software development experience
Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

Responsibilities

Work with Amazon’s largest and most demanding customers to address specific needs across a full suite of services
Dive deep into technical issues and work diligently to improve the customer experience
Collaborate with engineers and technical managers to deliver scalable cloud solutions
