Job summary

Amazon seeks an Assurance Solution Architect within AWS Security Assurance Services to help expand our compliance programs and secure workloads in the cloud. You will collaborate with enterprise customers and AWS partners to translate regulatory needs into scalable, automated security solutions.

Ideal candidates bring deep knowledge of PCI, ISO, HIPAA, GDPR, and NIST, along with strong stakeholder communication and travel willingness to visit customer sites as required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• Knowledge of AWS services.
• 4+ years experience advising customers on architectures meeting industry standards such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, and NIST frameworks.
• US government security clearance of secret or above

Responsibilities

• Expertise – Delivers in teams that include Amazonians, partners, and customers to enhance security assurance and compliance programs
• Solutions – Define innovative compliance and risk management approaches to customers that help move sensitive workloads onto the cloud faster.
• Delivery – Resolve security assurance questions and understand how to manage risk and achieve compliance while operating in the AWS Cloud through deep dive discussions, strategic presentations, and demonstrations of automating compliance.
• Insights – Work with AWS engineering, support and business teams to convey partner and customer feedback to AWS roadmaps.
• Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
