Job summary

AWS Security Assurance Services LLC is seeking an Assurance Solution Architect to help expand the practice and educate customers on product-led, people-powered services that secure workloads on AWS.

In this customer-facing role you will translate regulatory requirements into scalable security solutions, work with multiple lines of business, and collaborate with AWS engineering to improve security and compliance across deployments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructure.
• 4+ years in technology domains such as cloud, security, networking, data & analytics.
• Knowledge of AWS services and major security/compliance standards (PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, NIST).
• US government security clearance of secret or higher.

Responsibilities

• Deliver security assurance and compliance programs in collaboration with customers and partners.
• Define innovative risk management approaches to help move sensitive workloads to the cloud.
• Address assurance questions and demonstrate compliant AWS-based solutions.
• Collaborate with AWS engineering and support to influence roadmaps.
• Travel to customer sites as needed.
