Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an Assurance Solution Architect in the Security Assurance Services team to help expand our practice and educate customers on how our product-led, people-powered services enable secure cloud operations while meeting compliance objectives.

You'll work across multiple lines of business, translate regulatory requirements into scalable solutions, and communicate effectively with executives and technical teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 4+ years in technology domains such as cloud computing, security, systems engineering, infrastructure, or data & analytics.
• Knowledge of AWS services.
• 4+ years advising customers on architectures meeting standards (PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, NIST).
• US government security clearance of secret or above.

Responsibilities

• Delivers in teams to enhance security assurance and compliance programs.
• Defines innovative compliance and risk management approaches for customers moving to the cloud.
• Resolves security assurance questions and manages risk while operating in the AWS Cloud.
• Conveys partner and customer feedback to AWS roadmaps.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
