Job summary

Strategic Communications seeks a Cloud Operations Engineer to own end‑to‑end lifecycle for cloud reseller and managed customers, with emphasis on AWS for public sector and partner programs. You will coordinate onboarding, transitions, transfers, and renewals while collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, Project Management, Engineering, Accounting, and cloud partners.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of progressive cloud operations experience in enterprise tech environments.
• Experience working for AWS partner, cloud reseller, distributor, or MSP.
• Hands‑on working knowledge of AWS billing structures and cloud management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational lifecycle for cloud reseller and managed customers from onboarding to offboarding.
• Lead customer kickoff and transition meetings, explain processes in business and technical terms.
• Coordinate payer transfers, account ownership changes, and billing transitions with cross‑functional teams.
• Translate security, access, and billing requirements into actionable transition plans with Engineering and Security.
• Serve as escalation point for cloud operations issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Provide status reporting and maintain auditable records across systems.
