Job summary

TechShack is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join a major UK organisation on a long-term contract, delivering hands-on work in a high-traffic AWS environment.

The focus is modernising a complex legacy AWS estate, retiring unused resources, migrating to Terraform and bolstering security, observability, and infrastructure for Agentic AI on AWS (Bedrock/AgentCore). Fully remote, outside IR35, 8 months, rate £350–£400 per day.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Platform, DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Deep AWS experience with complex production environments.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on work across CircleCI & GitHub.
• Improve infrastructure security, monitoring and observability.
• Work on Agentic AI infrastructure on AWS (Bedrock/AgentCore).

Job description

£350–£400 per day | Outside IR35 | Fully Remote

We’re looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join a major UK organisation on a long-term contract, working across a large-scale, high-traffic AWS environment.

The focus will be on modernising a complex legacy AWS estate - understanding existing infrastructure, retiring what’s no longer required, migrating resources into Terraform and improving security across the platform.

You’ll be working hands‑on across:

• CircleCI & GitHub
• Infrastructure security, monitoring & observability
• Agentic AI infrastructure on AWS, including Bedrock/AgentCore

We’re looking for someone with 8+ years in Platform, DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering, deep AWS experience and a strong background working with complex production environment a the‐ co  .

Experience within high-traffic media, publishing or consumer platforms would be a bonus.

Contract: 8 months

Rate: Up to €300 Per day

Location: Fully Remote
