Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking an AWS Platform/API Engineer for a hybrid role, combining in-office days with remote work in Illinois. You will design and operate AWS-hosted APIs, automate infrastructure, and enable cross-platform workflows in a secure, scalable environment.

Proficiency in Python or Java, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines will be used to deliver reliable cloud integrations and mentor other engineers while collaborating with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Design APIs for reusable services and workflows.
• Develop APIs and services enabling seamless workflow across multiple platforms.
• Implement integration protocols and techniques for efficient system interaction.
• Connect cloud and on-prem applications to create a cohesive IT infrastructure.
• Automate using native AWS technologies and DevOps.
• Provide guidance and training to junior integration engineers and other staff members.
