Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Senior Director of Global Digital & Technology Systems Engineering to lead strategic and technical directions for biopharma platforms, AI architecture, and infrastructure. You will partner with Enterprise IT to oversee HPC, containerized environments, and data pipelines while designing advanced AI systems such as RAG and multimodal pipelines.

Travel and hybrid work are expected.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in data, digital, or IT within pharma/biotech/medical devices.
• 7+ years in senior leadership managing multi-skilled teams.
• Strong expertise in ML/AI/genAI systems, cloud architectures, and GxP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison to Enterprise IT and align IT with business objectives.
• Oversee platform and systems engineering, including HPC, containerized environments, and data pipelines.
• Design advanced AI systems such as RAG architectures and multimodal pipelines.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a global high-performing team.
• Ensure compliance with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and security standards.
• Collaborate with R&D and external vendors to align systems with business objectives.
