JPMorgan Chase is seeking an AWS Lead Software Engineer - Java/Spring Boot to join the Consumer and Community Banking division. You will help design, build, and scale cloud-native software, leading AI-assisted development practices and secure coding standards.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs in a large corporate environment.
• Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
• Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance.
• Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications.
• Applies knowledge of SDLC tools to improve automation and value.
• Gathers, analyzes, and draws conclusions from large data sets to identify problems and support secure, stable app development.
• Learns and applies system processes for development of secure code and systems.
• Contributes to team culture of inclusion and respect.
• Drives adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality, speed, and reliability, with validation standards.
