Job summary

VOLTO Consulting in Malvern, PA seeks an AWS Full Stack Engineer with 10-12 years of experience to design, build, and maintain cloud-native microservices and serverless applications using Java and Go on AWS.

You will implement IaC with CloudFormation, apply security best practices, manage data solutions with DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, S3, and Athena, and drive CI/CD, observability, and reliable deployments in Agile environments.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of hands-on experience in cloud-native development.
• Proven experience building microservices and serverless architectures on AWS.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD and infrastructure as code practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native microservices and serverless apps using Java, Go, AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and EventBridge.
• Build event-driven integrations with SQS and other AWS services for asynchronous processing.
• Define and manage Infrastructure as Code with CloudFormation for repeatable deployments.
• Design data solutions using DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, S3, and Athena for high performance and reliability.
• Implement security architecture and best practices, including IAM and encryption.
• Advance DevOps/SRE practices with CI/CD, observability, and reliable deployments in Agile teams.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA, and stakeholders to translate requirements.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance and scalability.

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native microservices and serverless applications using Java, Go, AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and EventBridge to deliver scalable and resilient solutions.

Build and support event-driven architectures leveraging SQS, EventBridge, and AWS services for seamless system integration and asynchronous processing.

Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation, ensuring automated, repeatable, and compliant cloud deployments.

Design and optimize data solutions using DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, S3, and Athena, ensuring high performance, availability, and data integrity.

Implement security architecture and cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, secrets management, and compliance controls across applications and infrastructure.

Drive DevOps and SRE practices by building CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, enhancing observability, and improving system reliability and operational efficiency.

Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA teams, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, perform code reviews, and ensure adherence to engineering standards.

Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and continuously improve application performance, scalability, and operational excellence in Agile environments.
