The role involves designing RESTful APIs in Java, working with microservices and event-driven architecture, and supporting modernization of legacy systems. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of enterprise software experience, proficiency with Spring Boot / Dropwizard / Micronaut, and solid database knowledge.

JOB SUMMARY
Senior Full Stack Engineer/Developer with strong Cloud, Microservices and data engineering skills and could work across a wide range of tech stack.

Key Responsibilities
Experience with designing and developing RESTful APIs using Java.
Experience in Microservices and Event driven Architecture.
Experience developing software utilizing relational databases (Oracle, Postgres).
Experience with Test automation for unit, functional and non-functional testing.
Ability to develop technical artifacts based on analysis of business and systems requirements.
Ability to discover/document implementations from legacy systems, Oracle, Java, as part of re-platforming.
Knowledge of current technologies and evolving trends.
Ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies.
Detail oriented coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills coupled with effective written and verbal communication skills.
Must be an organized self-starter with a team-based work style, and the ability to multi-task.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related technology discipline.
5+ years of software development experience on business critical, enterprise-wide applications.
Extensive experience with Service Oriented Architecture REST APIs using Spring Boot / Drop wizard / Micronaut.
Proven track record working with event-driven microservice architecture.
Proven experience working with relational databases such as Oracle and Postgres.
Experience with re-platforming large applications.
Expertise in designing, developing and maintaining high-volume transactional systems.
Ability to debug through legacy systems and capture current state to aid with modernization.
Experience with supporting Monolith legacy applications.
Publishes clear, concise and thorough design documentation.

Preferred Qualifications
AWS Cloud certifications and hands-on experience with services such as Amazon S3, Lambda, SNS, SQS, Event Bridge, Glue, and CloudFormation (CFN).
Knowledge of end-to-end DevSecOps automation with CI/CD pipelines including Unit, Component and Functional test automation.
Experience with Co-Pilot/Dev Assistant tools desirable.
Experience with Agile and Scrum Methodologies.
