Job summary

remoting.work is seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer to ensure fast, reliable, and secure software delivery across our cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on building automated deployment pipelines that minimize downtime and accelerate releases, with work conducted asynchronously across distributed time zones.

You will provision and manage AWS resources, containerize applications with Docker, and automate deployments using CodePipeline and CodeDeploy.

AWS DevOps Engineer

Remote (Based at an approved local secure facility). We work US time zones and ask that you're available during those hours, even if that means adjusting your schedule.

About The Role

This role exists to ensure fast, reliable, and secure software delivery across cloud infrastructure. You will build automated deployment pipelines that reduce downtime and accelerate release cycles. The work is primarily asynchronous, supported by clear documentation across distributed time zones. Our team is spread across multiple countries, working within structured processes and holding zero tolerance for error.

What You'll Do

• Provision and manage AWS infrastructure using infrastructure as code


• Build and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines


• Manage containerized applications using Docker across environments


• Automate deployments using CodePipeline and CodeDeploy


• Monitor infrastructure and deployments to resolve issues before they affect users

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience working with Amazon Web Services


• Hands‑on experience managing containers in production environments


• Strong background in infrastructure as code practices


• Experience building and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines


• Working knowledge of CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, Terraform, Docker, and CloudFormation


• Strong written English — our company works in English
