Job summary

Scrumconnect Consulting is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to design, deploy and optimise AWS infrastructure across multiple environments. You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage serverless and microservice architectures, and enforce security and FinOps standards.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support RPA and ETL integrations, and ensure robust cloud governance while delivering accessible, scalable digital services for UK clients.

Qualifications

• Designing, deploying and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Managing multiple environments within AWS.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
• Experience with modern architectures: React front-end, microservices, Lambda, Kafka.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Networking concepts: Transit Gateway, PrivateLink.
• IAM, MFA and security controls administration.
• API management with Kong Enterprise.
• Cloud governance and FinOps practices, including tagging standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and Agile delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure and manage multiple AWS environments (dev, test, staging, prod).
• Build, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines with Git-based tooling.
• Manage AWS infrastructure supporting React front-end, microservices, Lambdas and Kafka.
• Support ETL and RPA integrations where applicable.
• Implement secure networking patterns (Transit Gateway, PrivateLink).
• Deploy and manage Kong Enterprise API Gateway.
• Administer MFA, IAM roles and permissions for dev teams.
• Ensure resource tagging and FinOps governance.
• Monitor performance, availability and reliability across environments.
• Collaborate to improve automation and deployment efficiency.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues across cloud environments.
• Contribute to cloud security best practices and continuous improvement.
