Guidehouse is seeking an AWS Database Engineer in the McLean, VA area to support GrantSolutions platform modernization. You will design, implement, and optimize Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, ETL pipelines, and AWS data services, while collaborating with DevOps, data engineers, and stakeholders in an Agile environment.

The role emphasizes migration, security, monitoring, and AI-assisted development to improve productivity and delivery outcomes.

Competenze

5+ years of experience in Oracle database development, engineering, ETL, or related software roles.

Mansioni

Design, develop, and support Oracle database solutions with high performance and maintainability.
Develop and optimize SQL/PLSQL for application functionality and reporting.
Create and maintain database migration scripts, schema updates, and automated deployment processes.
Design, build, and support ETL workflows and data transformation processes.
Configure and operate AWS database services (RDS for Oracle/PostgreSQL, Redshift, S3) and related tools.
Collaborate with engineers, DevOps, and stakeholders; participate in Agile ceremonies.
Apply AI-assisted tools to accelerate SQL/PLSQL development and documentation.
