Job summary

Guidehouse seeks a Developer DBA to design, develop, and optimize Oracle database solutions supporting the GrantSolutions platform. You will implement PL/SQL packages, ETL processes, and data migrations while ensuring high performance and maintainability.

In this role you will work with application developers, data engineers, and Federal partners in an Agile environment, applying AI-assisted tooling to boost productivity, quality, and deployment velocity.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Oracle database development or engineering roles.
Strong Oracle SQL/PL/SQL development experience with performance tuning.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle database solutions (PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, materialized views).
Develop and optimize ETL workflows and data migration scripts.
Support cloud data platforms using AWS Redshift, RDS, S3 and related services.
Collaborate with engineers, DevOps, data engineers, and stakeholders in Agile sprints.
Contribute to CI/CD, DevSecOps practices and automated testing for databases.
Create technical documentation and support production releases.
