Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Parsippany, NJ, is seeking an Engineer to design, develop, and deploy Amazon Connect contact center solutions. You will integrate Lambda with API Gateway, manage DynamoDB and S3 resources, and implement secure serverless patterns across CI/CD pipelines.

You will mentor junior team members and collaborate with analysts, architects, and QA to deliver modernization projects, ensuring high availability and robust operational practices.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Amazon Connect development and integration, including contact flows and IVR workflows.
• Expertise in AWS Lambda development using Python and/or Node.js with error handling and performance tuning.
• Experience building/rest integrating REST APIs via API Gateway with external apps and backend systems.
• Solid knowledge of AWS services (DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, SNS, SES) for scalable solutions.
• Serverless architecture understanding with production support and debugging skills.
• Experience integrating Connect with Salesforce, ServiceNow, SAP or other systems.
• Hands-on with Amazon Lex, Contact Lens, Amazon Q in Connect, Bedrock, and AI-engagement tools.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, Git, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CloudFormation, Terraform and DevOps practices.
• Experience in Connect migration and contact center modernization.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Amazon Connect contact center solutions with omnichannel capabilities.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Connect and AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SNS, SES, CloudWatch).
• Build and support serverless apps, REST APIs, and automation using Python, Node.js, and AWS services.
• Collaborate with analysts, solution architects, QA, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Participate in Connect migration and modernization initiatives ensuring smooth transitions.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, testing practices, and deployment automation.
• Configure and optimize call routing, IVR, chatbot integrations, self-service, and reporting.
• Adhere to AWS security practices, IAM policies, compliance, and governance.

Job description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Amazon Connect development and integration, including Contact Flows, Queues, Routing Profiles, Agent Workspace, Call Routing, and IVR workflows.
• Strong expertise in AWS Lambda development using Python and/or Node.js, including synchronous and asynchronous integrations, error handling, logging, and performance optimization.
• Experience in building and consuming REST APIs using Amazon API Gateway, integrating Amazon Connect with external applications, CRM platforms, and backend systems.
• Good working knowledge of AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, SNS, SES, and Secrets Manager for developing scalable and secure solutions.
• Strong understanding of serverless architecture, troubleshooting, debugging, and production support, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience integrating Amazon Connect with Salesforce, ServiceNow, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or other third-party applications.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Lex, Contact Lens, Amazon Q in Connect, Bedrock, and AI-powered customer engagement solutions.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CloudFormation, Terraform, and DevOps best practices.
• Experience with Amazon Connect migration projects, contact center modernization, and telephony integrations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, testing practices, and deployment automation to ensure high-quality releases.
• Configure and optimize call routing, IVR workflows, chatbot integrations, customer self-service capabilities, and reporting solutions.
• Follow AWS security best practices, IAM policies, compliance standards, and operational governance requirements.

Salary Range

Salary Range-$130,000-$160,000 a year
