Job summary

Premier Inn Hotels LLC (UAE) is seeking a Cloud Engineer in Phoenix, AZ to support public cloud environments with a strong AWS foundation and hands-on experience across EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, ECS/EKS, and RDS/DynamoDB.

The role requires familiarity with GCP and Azure, experience in production support, incident and change management, and scripting with Python or Bash; Terraform or CloudFormation is a plus. Occasional weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS and GCP services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, ECS or EKS, RDS or DynamoDB, API Gateway, EventBridge, and CloudWatch.
• Experience supporting production environments, incident management, change management, and root-cause analysis.
• Strong knowledge of IAM roles/policies, least-privilege access, security groups, and network controls.
• Ability to work Saturdays or Sundays on a rotating schedule every few weeks.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on cloud support across AWS, GCP, and Azure environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents in production systems.
• Participate in change management and root-cause analysis efforts.
• Collaborate with teams to implement infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
