Qualifications

• 2+ years in cloud security engineering with AWS.
• Experience implementing STIGs, CIS benchmarks, and NIST 800-53.
• Ability to automate security tasks with Python, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Strong collaboration with DevOps, IT, and Compliance teams.

Responsibilities

• Secure AWS environments per best practices.
• Validate compliance with STIGs and CIS benchmarks.
• Monitor and assess alignment with NIST 800-53.
• Identify security gaps and manage remediation tickets.
• Lead meetings with stakeholders to review findings.
• Collaborate with DevOps, IT, and Compliance teams.
• Automate security workflows using cloud-native tools.
• Maintain documentation of security policies and configurations.
• Stay current with AWS security developments and threats.
