Job summary

System One seeks an AWS Cloud Security Architect to provide security guidance across enterprise apps and cloud environments. Qualifications

• 8+ years IT experience with cybersecurity and cloud security.
• 5+ years cybersecurity architecture experience (Information Security/Cloud/Infrastructure).
• 5+ years hands-on AWS cloud security experience in enterprise workloads.
• Strong knowledge of AWS security services, IAM, logging, data protection, and best practices.
• Experience with threat modeling, risk assessments, and remediation planning.
• Familiarity with NIST, FedRAMP, and FIPS frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide security architecture guidance for enterprise apps, AWS cloud environments, APIs, containers, and data solutions.
• Guide secure migration of workloads from on-premises to AWS and other cloud platforms.
• Define security patterns, guardrails, requirements, reference architectures, and guidance.
• Conduct security reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments for cloud-native and hybrid solutions.
• Define controls and remediation strategies for identified security gaps.
• Support secure AI/GenAI adoption, including governance, data protection, access controls, and monitoring.
