Job summary

System One is seeking an AWS Cloud Security Architect to lead security across enterprise applications, AWS environments, and AI-enabled solutions. You will design secure patterns, perform threat modeling, and guide secure migrations from on-prem to cloud platforms.

Strong collaboration with engineering and security teams is essential. The role requires 8+ years in IT security with 5+ years in cloud security, plus expertise in AWS services, IAM, and compliance frameworks such as

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT with cybersecurity focus.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity/cloud security architecture.
• 5+ years AWS cloud security experience and migrations.
• Strong knowledge of AWS security services, IAM, networking, logging, data protection.
• Experience with threat modeling, risk assessments, and remediation planning.
• Familiarity with NIST, FedRAMP, and FIPS frameworks.
• Knowledge of AI/GenAI security and governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide security architecture guidance for enterprise apps and AWS cloud environments.
• Guide secure migration of workloads from on-prem to AWS and other clouds.
• Define security patterns, guardrails, and reference architectures.
• Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews for cloud and AI solutions.
• Define controls and remediation plans for identified gaps.
• Support AI governance, monitoring, and incident escalation.
