Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Administrator to manage and optimize cloud environments, ensuring high availability, security, and efficiency. You will work with engineering and infrastructure teams to implement best practices and automation across AWS services.

The role requires hands-on AWS management, IaC experience, and strong troubleshooting skills to support production environments and cost optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• 4+ years IT infrastructure experience with 3+ years AWS administration.
• Strong operations background and incident handling experience.
• Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• Experience with AWS core services: EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, Route 53, EBS, VPC.
• Experience with AWS networking: Security Groups, NACLs, VPNs, Direct Connect, Load Balancers.
• IaC experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, backup, and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure for availability and reliability.
• Configure and manage AWS resources (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.).
• Monitor environments, respond to alerts, and troubleshoot issues.
• Manage IAM roles, security groups, NACLs, and access.</n>
• Support network components like VPCs, NATs, VPNs, Direct Connect, and load balancers.
• Participate in on-call support and production incident response as required.
