Job summary

AWS and Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) engineering teams seek a Systems Development Engineer to design, implement, and operate scalable, secure infrastructure for global use. You will work with principal engineers, software, and security teams to translate stringent requirements into automated, reliable systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of development/programming/scripting experience (Python/Java/Bash/Perl).
• Automation experience and use of version control tools; network troubleshooting knowledge.
• Experience with Linux and/or Windows OS, managing systems at scale.
• PowerShell scripting, database administration, and client-server applications.
• Active US Government TS/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain a logically isolated development environment within AWS Secret Cloud region.
• Monitor system health, patching, and software updates across hosted services.
• Administer the GitLab repository, including access, pipelines, and version control.
• Support lab connectivity, network switches, KVM architecture, and developer workstations.
