Job summary

BAMKO is seeking an experienced AWS Engineer to own the cloud environment end-to-end, spanning compute, networking, IAM, databases, storage, and Cloudflare edge. You will drive availability and scalability for production workloads through robust monitoring, logging, and alerting.

The role requires 5+ years of AWS production experience with current certification, along with IaC tooling (Terraform or CDK) and scripting (Python/Bash) on Linux. On-call duties are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years AWS production experience and current AWS certification.
• Terraform or AWS CDK, Python or Bash, and Linux/LAMP-stack operations.
• Cloudflare DNS, WAF, Zero Trust Access, and on-call experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the AWS environment end to end: compute, networking, IAM, databases, storage, and Cloudflare edge.
• Improve availability, scalability, resilience, monitoring, logging, and alerting for production workloads.
• Manage infrastructure as code, plan upgrades, and control AWS spend.
