Job summary

Atlantic BT seeks an experienced IT professional to support client hosting environments in AWS, manage cloud resources, and move infrastructure to Terraform/OpenTofu. The role involves collaborating with developers, QA, and project managers, and maintaining secure, scalable hosting platforms using modern IaC practices.

You will handle monitoring, incident response, and deployments while contributing to documentation and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience cloud hosting applications and related activities.
• Experience with AWS in Production Environments.
• Linux administration and Microsoft Server administration.
• Hands-on Terraform or OpenTofu: writing modules, managing state, importing resources.
• Strong networking knowledge: subnetting, routing, DNS, TLS, load balancing, VPN.
• Excellent communication skills, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent client support via phone, email, and tickets.
• Work with developers, QA, and PMs to unblock infrastructure issues and explain them clearly.
• Design, build and scale hosting environments in AWS.
• Create and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform/OpenTofu and import existing resources.
• Perform network administration tasks including VPC design, DNS, load balancing, and VPN.
• Triage monitoring alerts and lead incident response.
• Coordinate deployments and diagnose CI/CD issues.
• Document processes and deployments; ensure IT policies are followed.
