Job summary

Caelum Research Corporation seeks an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure in the United States. You will deploy and manage resources, enforce security policies, and optimize performance and cost through automation and IaC.

The role collaborates with security, DevOps, and development teams to ensure robust architectures, monitoring, and incident response. Strong documentation skills and on-call readiness are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on AWS administration, DevOps, or cloud engineering.
• Active Secret Security Clearance
• Experience with IaC and Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience with monitoring and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure and resources.
• Enforce security policies, IAM roles, encryption, and compliance standards.
• Automate deployments and infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools.
• Configure and optimize VPCs, subnets, routing, and networking components.
• Troubleshoot AWS services, monitor logs, and respond to incidents.
• Document architectures, policies, and runbooks; support Dev teams.
