  • Strong programming and scripting: Python, Ansible, Bash
  • Experience building cloud-native applications, including event-driven and containerized workloads (Lambda, EKS, Docker)
  • Infrastructure-as-Code experience with AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform
  • CI/CD pipeline development and DevOps automation experience
  • Experience troubleshooting, optimizing, and documenting cloud environments
  • Ability to collaborate with business users, technical teams, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass an enhanced Public Trust background screen
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience integrating or supporting file transfer and messaging systems (e.g., IBM MQ, Connect:Direct)
  • Background working in Agile, Scrum, or SAFe environments
  • Understanding of compliance, security, and governance best practices in federal financial systems
  • Experience modernizing legacy workloads into cloud-native architectures
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead strategy, design, and execution for migrating complex data flows into modern AWS architectures
  • Build secure, scalable cloud-native services using Python, Ansible, and IaC tools (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform)
  • Design and deploy event-driven and containerized workloads using Lambda, Step Functions, and Kubernetes (EKS)
  • Modernize and integrate enterprise file transfer and MQ platforms (IBM MQ, Connect:Direct) within AWS environments
  • Automate cloud deployments and CI/CD pipelines following DevOps best practices
  • Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimization for AWS services and applications
  • Collaborate across technical and business teams to define integration needs, clarify requirements, and support secure system delivery
  • Document cloud architectures, processes, and operational playbooks for ongoing development and support
