Job summary

Inadev is seeking an AWS Architect to design and govern the cloud infrastructure for the platform on native AWS services. You will build a serverless-first, secure, and cost-effective foundation on AWS, define infrastructure standards, and ensure FedRAMP and availability objectives are met.

The role focuses on designing cloud infrastructure using native AWS services, implementing IaC with CDK/CloudFormation, and leading Well-Architected reviews, with a hybrid schedule in Reston, VA and client

Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional required.
• 5+ years hands-on AWS architecture and delivery.
• Strong infrastructure-as-code experience with CDK/CloudFormation.
• Experience with high-availability, high-volume systems.

Responsibilities

• Design cloud infrastructure using native AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, API Gateway, Aurora, S3, ECS/EKS).
• Define infrastructure-as-code standards using AWS CDK/CloudFormation.
• Architect for FedRAMP compliance.
• Lead AWS Well-Architected reviews and cost-optimization efforts.
• Design networking, security, and multi-environment strategies.
• Support integration of Amazon Bedrock and agentic AI services.
• Guide capacity planning, resilience, and disaster recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design cloud infrastructure using native AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, API Gateway, Aurora, S3, ECS/EKS)
• Define infrastructure-as-code standards using AWS CDK/CloudFormation
• Architect for FedRAMP compliance
• Lead AWS Well-Architected reviews and cost-optimization efforts
• Design networking, security, and multi-environment strategies
• Support integration of Amazon Bedrock and agentic AI services
• Guide capacity planning, resilience, and disaster recovery

Requirements

Non-Technical Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be willing to work a HYRBID Schedule (2 Days) in Reston, VA & client locations in the Washington D.C. area as required.
• Ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Clearance
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
