Job summary

The Arc of Opportunity in Hubbardston, MA is hiring Awake Overnight Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with developmental disabilities, implement ISPs, and assist with daily living tasks. You will accompany residents, drive the agency van when needed, and advocate for their wellbeing.

We offer a $5,000 hiring bonus, a $1,500 referral bonus, comprehensive benefits, and a 40-hour Sunday-Thursday, 11 PM–7 AM schedule.

Qualifications

• Active and valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs and sustain long periods of sitting or standing.
• Restraint assistance experience is a plus.
• Experience in substance abuse or mental health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively advocate for individuals served and uphold the agency's values in all interactions.
• Leverage your knowledge to empower individuals and enhance their quality of life.
• Implement Individual Service Plans (ISPs).
• Assist individuals with activities of daily living and household tasks.
• Assist with appointments, including driving the agency van.
• Present in a respectful and professional manner in all interactions.
• Attend trainings and apply knowledge on the job.
• Communicate effectively, orally or in writing.
