Job summary

iCapital is seeking a Structured Investments Distribution Engineer at the AVP level in Salt Lake City, Utah. You will design and implement scalable APIs and applications on a micro-services platform, collaborating with Product Management to translate requirements into robust software.

The role emphasizes technical depth across Scala, Node.js and Python, with a path to ownership of end-to-end client solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Software Engineering
• 5+ years of web-based application development
• Experience in Scala, Node.js or Java is a plus
• Demonstrated understanding of relational or NoSQL database concepts and modeling practices
• Passion for actively learning new technologies
• Ability to work independently or as part of a group effort
• Solid problem-solving abilities
• Collaborative approach to software development

Responsibilities

• Unit and integration test development using Scala Test and ZIO Test
• Active participation in stand-up meetings
• Active participation in Peer Code Reviews as part of our SDLC and Change Management Process
