iCapital seeks an Assistant Vice President Artificial Intelligence Engineer to design, develop, and deploy production-grade AI systems for the firm. You will own AI projects end-to-end, collaborating with Product, Operations, Legal, and Business teams to translate business needs into scalable solutions, with emphasis on reliability, scalability, and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production AI/ML systems on cloud platforms.
• Strong Python and software engineering practices.
• Expertise in LLM apps, agents, RAG, and document intelligence.
• End-to-end ML pipelines: training, deployment, monitoring.
• Stats, experimentation, metrics, and scalability focus.
• Experience guiding architecture discussions and mentoring.
• Excellent communication with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in financial services/FinTech preferred.
• Open-source contributions or publications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver production AI systems powering business processes.
• Own AI projects end-to-end from scoping to deployment.
• Contribute to technical design and architectural decisions.
• Develop evaluation frameworks and benchmarks.
• Partner with Product, Operations, Legal, and Business teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and reduce technical debt.
• Improve team processes and tooling for velocity.
